As you all know Adidas is the best wrestling shoes manufacturer in the world. They proved so many times that their shoes are ranked N:1 both by professional wrestlers and athletes. The past wrestling season Adidas released the Response 2006 wrestling shoe which became the biggest hit on the market and was sold out merely in days. The quality of the Adidas wrestling shoe is one of the best mainly due to the incredible experience in athletic shoe manufacturing and number of sportswear laboratories for maximum performance shoes and gear.

In the upcoming wrestling season Adidas had prepared two very interesting models. The first one will be the new version of the Adidas Response 2006 shoe which will be exactly the same just in different colors, and the other one will be a totally new line extremely similar to the Adidas Response shoes called Adidas Extero...

You can note from the two images above that the Extero Shoe is based on the Adidas Response design and only differs in the straps as on the Response they are covered with the outsole and on the Extero they are "external". I guess that might be why they called them Extero, but I‘m not sure.

Anyway, they are both really good wrestling shoes priced around $60-$80 which makes them be on relatively affordable price compared to the other Adidas models. (maybe a bit more when they release them). They are really good quality and most of the wrestlers that bought the previous models are really happy with them and intend to get the new models this year. Be advised that the most models around 9-10 1/2 vanished extremely quickly last year and I do suggest that you get them early and make sure you get your pair. Last year most sizes and colors finished in about one month and since October people are looking for them like crazy (especially for the big competitions in January) and they can't find them since there are no more left. That's why Adidas last year made one more release of the same shoes in late February but that was too late for most wrestlers because the major tournaments were already over and that's why there are still some colors of the old models available on the market. I strongly recommend that if the new models are more than $20 above the old models, you should get the old ones since they are very good and almost similar to the new models and you can save some money, but that's my opinion. If you wish to show off then get the new models.
